Final exam Min Won - Jazz & Pop Drums

Min Won is a drummer, improviser, and composer from South Korea. He was raised in a small town called Paju. And he started to play music at church when he was young. So, he was close to church music. Min Won plays a lot of different genres, including free jazz, modern jazz, improvisational music with dancers, fusion jazz, funk, and gospel music.

He plays in many different band projects that he is leading with members. (Formula Fusion, É l M l U, and Trio Noir.) As you see, he plays many other pieces of music while still playing with his voice. Moreover, he is also playing a lot as a sideman. Since he moved to the Netherlands, he has started to get quite a few calls from great musicians. From there, he had chances to know his fellow musicians and play their music as a sideman. So, he is very open to every genre.
